Khuloud Hasan Mohamed Al Nuwais

Khuloud Al Nuwais is Chief Sustainability Officer at Emirates Foundation. A businesswoman, strategist and member of the senior management team, she has helped position the Foundation as an innovative thinker on venture philanthropy on a global platform. Khuloud has 19 years of experience in the private sector and philanthropy. Credited with playing a pivotal role in creating the Emirates Foundation in 2005, her achievements include setting up an Emirati Empowerment program for Emirati youth (Tawteen) now known as “Kafa’at” that aims to empower young Emiratis to pursue career paths in the private sector. She also led the restructuring of Children without Parental Care Organization (Dar Zayed for Family Care) among other projects. Khuloud mentors team members, young female leaders and youth through the Foundation’s programs and received the Youth Mentorship Award from HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed. Previously, Khuloud was a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Planning Department of Dolphin Energy Limited, the company supplying gas from Qatar to the U.A.E. She also served as a Market Analyst at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Khuloud holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Portland State University, U.S. Her board experience includes Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council, which spearheads the government’s efforts in building a sustainable Emirati workforce. She has also been a member of the Social Sector Advisory Committee for the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi.
